NOTTINGHAMSHIRE - Studio 2015


My daily practice takes place at Hockerwood Farm – where an old barn has been converted into a dance studio. Here I return to the raw materials of Self – now that I have stripped everything away, What Am I? … I stabilize myself with my traditional Ballet Barre as an antidote to self-scrutiny.

NOTTINGHAMSHIRE - Harvest 2015


By Harvest time I am in the English countryside of Nottinghamshire – Robin Hood country. Here I immerse myself in Nordic Tropicana: wheat, apples, hay bales, elderberries, the ancient oaks of Sherwood Forest & other nature specimens of rural highways & byways. Apples become chutney – Elderberries, wine.
